Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Coach for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC Plano TX and JerseyCity NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

The Agile Coach is responsible for enabling teams leaders and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to adopt and continuously improve Lean-Agile principles and practices. This role serves as a change agent promoting an Agile mindset and coaching teams toward high performance to drive measurable improvements in delivery and business outcomes. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Coach teams Scrum Masters Product Owners and leaders on Agile principles frameworks and best practices
• Guide organizations through Agile transformation initiatives and maturity improvements
• Promote Lean-Agile values servant leadership and continuous learning
• Support adoption of SAFe Scrum Kanban and flow-based delivery practices
• Develop Agile capabilities across teams and leadership levels
• Assess team and program maturity and create improvement plans
• Coach teams on backlog management prioritization estimation planning and execution
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment across Agile Release Trains
• Support PI Planning preparation execution and follow-through
• Mentor Scrum Masters to improve effectiveness and develop coaching capabilities
• Identify systemic impediments impacting multiple teams or value streams
• Coach leaders on organizational design value stream optimization and operating models
• Drive consistency in Agile practices while allowing flexibility where appropriate
• Support governance risk compliance and change management activities without compromising agility

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Technology Engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience in Agile delivery environments
• 3 years of experience coaching multiple Agile teams or Agile Release Trains
• Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum Kanban Lean and SAFe
• Demonstrated success leading Agile transformation initiatives
• Experience coaching leadership teams and senior stakeholders
• Strong facilitation conflict resolution and organizational change management skills
• Expertise with Agile tooling such as Jira Jira Align and Azure DevOps
• Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC ICP-ENT)
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Desired skills:

• Demonstrated use of Copilot Chat (AI) prompt patterns for story mapping and backlog refinement (e.g. Jeff Patton-style story maps)

Pay range: $89.00 - $97.00 per hour
